Acting is a craft. It's the art that conceals art.
My Training will take you there.
Actors are 'athletes of the heart'
If you have an audition or shoot coming up, bring it and we work on it.
And oh, and did I mention? We have Fun!

My class is called Team Actor. It is an Advanced Camera Acting Class and more. I created it because area actors need to how to act for the camera and casting directors want to book actors who can do the job. In this very small and intensive class, we go in depth to explore on-camera technique, creating a character, scene study, the business of the business, creating and maintaining a career, web sites, all the nuts 'n bolts of the biz and more. I shoot with 2 iphones and an ipad assist, then edit those takes and deliver them to you via FTP Hightail/YouSendIt. Many of my students have used the work on their websites to get more work! With the smaller class size I am able to be your personal acting coach. And with a lifetime spent as a working union actress/director/producer I'm able to pass on tried and true techniques which work on camera, on mic and on stage. I really believe you have to give it away to keep it. Maybe that's why the phone keeps ringing. At any rate, I am so grateful to be continually working in this business for 40 years now. Amazing!
Our sessions of Team Actor are absolutely thrilling. We work on scene study, headshots, the on-camera talent 'toss technique' of multicam industrial shoots, eye focus for camera, continuity, the reveal and more. We start each session with snacks and refreshment, catching up on actor activities, review and critique footage and then go over our scripts or lessons (e.g., ‘What is your face really saying?’) Then we move into the studio/gallery for lighting where our cams are set up and shoot. If we need to do pick ups or check footage we then go into my recording studio.
